​Participants must:

  • Have lived in England for at least three consecutive years and have the right to work in the UK. 

  • Be 19 years or older as of August 31st, 2024. 

  • Not have participated in another fully funded Skills Bootcamp by the Department for Education since March 2024.

How to Apply

  • Complete the Registration of Interest form.

  • Check your email – You will receive links to the following:

    • One-Way Interview Form – You will be asked a combination of video and text questions about your experience, aspirations, and availability. If you're unfamiliar with one-way interviews, they consist of pre-written questions where you record a video response at your convenience. Each question must be answered before moving on to the next. 

    • PICS Application Form – This collects information required by the Department for Education. 

  • Both forms must be completed for your application to be considered. 

  • Two members of our team will review your application. We aim to respond within two working days. Response time may be slightly longer due to high demand.

Assessment Criteria

We assess applications on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. When reviewing your application, we will consider: 

  • Your previous experience and its relevance to this opportunity. 

  • Your career aspirations for after the bootcamp and how they align with the opportunity. 

  • Your passion for the subject matter and industry. 

  • Your availability to attend the entire bootcamp. 

  • Your fluency in both written and spoken English. 

On-campus commitment

This bootcamp will feature a blend of remote and online learning. You will be expected to travel to the UCA stages in Farnham for practical virtual production sessions.

The time commitment is for ONE FULL DAY during the following weeks:​​

  • June 23

  • June 30

Remote learning commitments

You will also be expected to attend remote sessions every week (15 hours/week) between w/c March 17th and w/c June 30. The following timetables are available:

 

  • Mon-Thu 9:30AM – 1PM

  • Mon-Thu 5:30PM – 9PM

  • Mon-Thu 2PM – 6:30PM

  • Mon & Wed – 9:30AM – 5.30PM

  • Tue & Thu – 9.30AM - 5.30PM
