What is Skills City?
Headquartered at HOST, the Home of Skills & Technology, in MediaCity, Salford, Skills City aims to break the barriers faced by those from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds, by fast-tracking over 1000 people into technology careers every year.
Backed by the Department for Education (DfE), Skills City is part of the Government's Lifetime Skills Guarantee, helping everyone gain skills for life.

Skills City, operated by IN4 Group, comprises leading digital technology Skills Bootcamps working in collaboration with employers at all levels, we connect you to motivated, experienced, and dynamic professionals.​
What Are Skills Bootcamps?
Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving you the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track you to an interview with a local employer.

They are being developed by the UK Government as part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Skills for Life with the Department for Education (DfE).

In partnership with employers, providers, and local authorities, Skills Bootcamps help learners develop the skills that are most in demand in their local area, improve employability and increase opportunities for people to progress throughout their lives.
